We are taking proactive measures to limit the spread of any infection in our practice. Our clinical team members always use fresh gloves and masks for every patient, as well as wash their hands thoroughly between patients. We have also reviewed proper hand washing techniques, sterilization, and universal precautions with our dental team.
Our dental team has stationed additional hand sanitizer pumps in the office for both patient and staff use. Patients are encouraged to apply antibacterial hand sanitizer before resting in the reception room and entering the clinical area of our office.
Commonly touched areas in the office, including door handles, restrooms, common room seating as well as clipboards and pens and other frequently touched surfaces, are being cleaned at an increased frequency using cleaning solutions certified to kill viruses.
We are asking our patients to help limit the spread of infection. If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, such as fever or cough, body aches; or acute respiratory illness, including symptoms of fever, cough or shortness of breath, please remain home and contact your primary physician or public health department as soon as possible to find out if you should be seen or tested. Please reschedule your appointment with our office. We will gladly waive any cancellations fees.
We will continue to monitor the situation and we are prepared to adjust our protocols as needed to ensure the safety of our patients and our Lake Pointe Family Dentistry team. Any changes to our plan or ADA guidelines will be posted here.
If you have any questions or concerns about your dental care or upcoming appointment, please contact our office at (704) 357-9955 or email@example.com.
